Sweden wins U20 tournament in Sundsvall

With three straight wins against Czech Republic, Finland and Russia Sweden won the U20 4-Nations tournament in Sundsvall.
The U20 teams of the four EHT countries Czech Republic, Finland, Russia and Sweden got together in Sundsvall for a 4-nation tournament last weekend. The home team Sweden won all three games. Finland finished second with wins against Russia and Czech Republic. Russia won thw game against the Czechs and finished third.
Day 1
The tournament opened with a solid Finnish win against Russia. Artturi Lehkonen scored two goals. Lehkonen would eventually finish top scorer of the entire tournament with three goals and one assist. Joonas Korpisalo guarded the Finnish net and made 21 saves.
All three goals were scored within four minutes in the third period. Linus Arnesson made it 1-0 for the Swedes. Radim Matus tied it but only 22 seconds later William Karlsson took the Swedes ahead again.
Day 2
Vyacheslav Osnovin scored in the second period and Alexander Timirev in the third when Russia beat the Czechs. Vasily Demchenko in the Russian net made 28 saves for the shut-out.
Sweden took an early 2-0 lead and Viktor Arvidsson made it 3-0 in the second period. But the Finnish players didn't give up. Artturi elhkonen and Petter Lindbohm scored to make it 3-2. In the middle of the third period Filip Sandberg and Max Görtz scored to secure the Swedish win.
Day 3
Ville Järveläinen scored two power play goals when Finland won 3-1 against Czech Republic. Between his goals Petr Beranek tied it and Juuso Vainio restored the Finnish lead.
The Swedes outshot Russia 17-1 in the first period and scored twice (Viktor Arvidsson and Sebastian Collberg). Russia's Danil Romantsev scored a short-handed goal in the second period. Emil Djuse scored the last goal of the touenament when he made it 3-1 Sweden at 46:56.
