Fife Flyers V Hull Stingrays 4:3
The Fife Flyers looked to snap a three game losing streak as they welcomed the Hull Stingrays to Scotland.
The Flyers took the advantage at 10.34 through a powerplay effort from Danny Stewart followed shortly by Casey Haines at 13.51.
12 Seconds later, Dominic Osman pulled the game back to within one at 14.03, but the Flyers would go into the first break with a 3:1 lead as Jason Pitton found the net at 18.29
A quiet second period saw Jerem Tendler score for the Stingrays at 25.42, but Casey Haines netted for the second time late in the period to end the second period with the Flyers leading 4:2
Hull were unable to come back from the deficit despite having many chances, and left it late to grab the final goal, at 59.21 Sylvain Cloutier got the goal but it was too little too late for Hull.
Friday 16 November
Nottingham Panthers V Sheffield Steelers 3:2
The Sheffield Steelers travelled to Nottingham for a Challenge Cup game, and with both teams already qualified for the quarter finals, the two teams rested their started goalies and went with their backups.
Drew Fata capitalised on the first powerplay opportunity of the night at 10.54 giving the Steelers a 1:0 lead going into the break.
Nottingham picked up their game in the second, adding two goals through Eric Werner at 24.59 and again through Bruce Graham at 37.51, ending the second period at 2:1 to the Panthers.
A goal each in the final period sealed the game for the home side, Bruce Graham added his second of the match at 43.33 and then Tylor Michel scored the second powerplay goal for the Steelers but they couldn't stage a comeback as the Nottingham Panthers won the game 3:2
Saturday 17 November
Braehead Clan V Coventry Blaze 5:2
The Braehead Clan were looking to kickstart their dissapointing start to the season, and after released two players earlier in the week, the team looked inspired as they took on the Coventry Blaze.
Both teams saw a lot of the puck in the first period, and despite registering 14 shots against the Clan net, Coventry found themselves trailing, Robert Farmer fired the Clan ahead against his former team at 17.47 to give them the lead at the break.
NHLer Matt Beleskey leveled the scores 40 seconds into the second period, but the hosts regained the lead through another NHLer Drew Miller at 33.58, taking the game into the third with a goal seperating the two sides.
The Clan opened up a two goal lead through Jordan Krestanovich at 44.47 but with 10 minutes remaining, Sam Smith pulled it back to one at 50.28.
Krestanovich added his second of the night with a shorthanded effort, and with Peter Hirsch on the bench for the extra skater, Jade Galbraith sealed the 5:2 victory for the Braehead Clan.
Dundee Stars V Cardiff Devils 1:9
The Cardiff Devils took the gruelling 11 hour bus journey to Scotland and still found the energy to demolish the Dundee Stars.
The visitors got off to a great start, Captain Stuart MacRae found the net at 3.36 whilst the Devils were shorthanded, and shortly after, Kenton Smith doubled the lead at 5.37.
Chris Blight added a third goal in the 11th minute to give Cardiff a 3:0 lead going into the second period.
Dundee managed to pull one back through Sami Ryhanen at 26.34 but the Stars failed to gain any momentum from the goal.
At 31.58 the league leader in goals Mac Faulkner grabbed the Devils fourth, quickly followed by NHLer Paul Bissonnette for his fourth goal in four games since joining the EIHL.
Two of the Devils important Brit players Bari McKenzie and Ben Davies got on the board before the period was out to send the game into the third period with Cardiff up 7:1
The Devils eased up in the third period and Chris Blight and Stuart MacRae completed their braces to get two goals each and give the Devils a convincing 9:1 win.
Hull Stingrays V Belfast Giants 2:3
League leading Belfast Giants travelled to Hull for the first of their two away games in week 11.
After a goalless first period, the Giants opened the scoring at 21.26 through Craig Peacock, quickly doubled by Andrew Fournier.
Hull managed to pull one back through Jereme Tendler at 27.28 but the Giants took a two goal lead as Bobby Sandrock converted on the powerplay to end the period at 3:1 to Belfast.
Jason Silverthorn managed to pull the game back to within one with less than 10 minutes to play, but even as the Stingrays pulled their goalie, they couldn't force overtime and the league leaders extended their lead with a 3:2 victory.
Fife Flyers V Edinburgh Capitals 4:1
The Edinburgh Capitals continued their poor road form in a loss to the Fife Flyers. This was the 20th consecutive road loss for the Capitals, a streak which started on January 2nd 2012, the last time they won was against Fife with the score from Saturday nights encounter reversed in a Capitals 4:1 victory.
The home side found themselves trailing only 27 seconds into the game, Jordan Steel put the Capitals ahead but an end to the losing streak would have to wait.
Chris Wands leveled the game at 7.22, and the home side had to wait until midway in the second period to take control of the game. Derek Keller managed to convert a powerplay chance to give the Flyers a2:1 lead going into the third period.
Fife completed their victory with two goals early in the third through Jason Pitton and new signing Bobby Chaumont who joined after being released from the Braehead Clan.

Sunday 18 November
Cardiff Devils V Belfast Giants 4:3 (After overtime)
Belfast travelled to Cardiff to face a Devils team on a scoring streak, 13 goals in the last two games and there was no shortage of goals in Sunday nights clash.
Both teams started well, keeping the puck well and testing both Goalies, but both Stephen Murphy of the Giants and Phil Osaer were up to the task and were stopping everything thrown at them.
That was until Darryl Lloyd put the Giants a head at 10.51.
Craig Peacock was on hand to doulbe the lead at 15.27 sending the game into the second period with the Giants leading 2:0.
The Giants defence stepped up their efforts in the second period, breaking up the Devils attack time after time stopping any real threats. Adam Keefe then gave the Giants a 3:0 lead midway through the period on the powerplay, and the game went into the final period at that score, leaving the Devils with an uphill battle.
NHLer Paul Bissonnette was able to pick up his 5th goal in as many games at 45.18 with a powerplay effort, and then set up Josh Batch for the Devils second at 49.03.
The Devils then continued to throw anything and everything at Stephen Murphy and Mac Faulkner eventually levelled the game at 3 on 52.29, which would send the game into overtime.
Moments after Jeff Mason left the box after being called for Slashing late in the third period, Mac Faulkner found himself alone infront of net and able to complete a monumental comeback for the Devils as they took the game 4:3 after overtime.
Coventry Blaze V Nottingham Panters 5:2
The Nottingham Panthers were left to rue a lack of discipline as they gave the Coventry Blaze 11 powerplay opportunities, allowing them to suffer defeat at the hands of the Blaze.
The Panthers took the lead through Robert Lachowicz at 11.44 on the powerplay, but Gerome Giudice leveled the game 66 seconds later, and the period ended at one a piece.
Much of the same in the second, a goal a piece for either side, this time Coventry struck first through Shea Guthrie and late in the period, Lachowicz added his second of the night to keep the scores level heading into the third.
A penalty full period cost the Panthers the game as the Blaze grabbed their third of the game on the powerplay and with a Delayed penalty call through Brad Leeb on 40.57, quickly doubled by Dustin Cameron at 41.55
The Blaze completed the game with a goal at 44.58 through Gerome Giudice and the Panthers couldn't respond, falling to the Blaze who took the game 5:2
Edinburgh Capitals V Hull Stingrays 1:3
Despite setting a record attendance, the Capitals were unable to pick up any points this weekend, falling to the Hull Stingrays.
An even first ended with the Stingrays leading through a late goal from Jason Silverthorn at 18.20 while Hull were a man short.
Capitals captain Martin Cingel tied the game at 30.35 but less than three minutes later, Kurtis Dulle added a second goal for the stingrays, and the second shorthanded goal.
Edinburgh did well to keep themselves in the game, but with the goalie pulled, Jereme Tendler found the empty net at 58.40 leaving any chance of a comeback too late for Edinburgh.
Sheffield Steelers V Fife Flyers 4:2
The final game of the week saw Fife travel south to Sheffield and put up a good fight but eventually come up short.
The Steelers got off to a good, quick start, with Shawn Limpright finding the net at 7.02 followed by Colin Shields on the powerplay at 9.05.
Jonathon Phillips made it 3-0 five minutes later, but Fife answered quickly with Kyle Horne scoring 12 seconds later to end the first period at 3:1 to the home team.
Fife pulled the game back to within one through Casey Haines at 35.39, but ultimately the Steelers would take the victory, sealed by Jeff Legues' empty net goal at 58.56 to dissapoint the Flyers.
