Swedes upset after late hit by Jenner

Canada beat Sweden after penalty shots in a WJC preparation game in Finland but the main topic of the game was a late hit by Canada's Boone Jenner on Sweden's Jesper Pettersson that most likely will make Pettersson miss the tournament.
Canada defeated Sweden 2-1 after shootout in a close game in Helsinki. Sweden took the lead in the first by a power play goal by Alexander Wennberg and Jonathan Dourin tied it just seconds after Canada got back to full strenght after Jenner's five minute penalty. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored the winner in the shootout.
But if the result in this preparation game before the World Juniors wasn't so interesting the situation halfway through the second period was. Sweden's Jesper Petterson passed the puck in his own zone and a few seconds after he released the puck he was hit by a late and very hard hit by Canada's Boone Jenner. Jenner was sent of the ice with 5 + game penalty for charging while Pettersson left the ice on a stretcher.
The hit can be seen here on youtube.
Pettersson is now likely to miss the tournament after leaving the ice with at least a dislocated shoulder. There has been unconfirmed reports about a couple of broken ribs and a concussion as well. A hard blow for Pettersson and a Swedish team that already has had big problems with injuries.
"He wants to hirt him", Sweden's manager Tommy Boustedt told Aftonbladet. "If you make a hit like this a normal person understands it will be consequences. It's so sad, but I can't say I'm surprised".
In another game today Finland showed good form and won 5-1 against USA
