Unusual game winner when AIK beats Brynäs

When AIK beat Brynäs 2-1 in overtime Daniel Josefsson scored the winner. His first Elitserien goal since November 2010.
Brynäs IF - AIK
1 - 2 (0-0, 0-0, 1-1, 0-1)
The game was scoreless for almost 56 minutes but then the young defenseman Christian Djoos scored for Brynäs. Broc Little tied it 2:07 before the end. In the overtime Daniel Josefsson scored the winning goal. The goal was his first of the season and the eigth of his Elitserien career.
MODO Hockey - Frölunda HC
6 - 1 (2-0, 2-0, 2-1)
MODO got an early 2-0 lead on goals by Richie Regehr and Mario Kempe. In the second period Dave Spina and Mattias Ritola scored 3-0 and 4-0. With six minutes remaining Magnus Kahnberg scored Frölunda's only goal before Kristian Forsberg added two more goals for the home team.
Luleå HF - Linköpings HC
4 - 1 (2-0, 1-0, 1-1)
The veteran Jan Sandström gave the home team an early lead. Niklas Olausson, former Linköping player, made it 2-0 and Mika Pyörälä 3-0. Linköping's top scorer Carl Söderberg got a goal at 44:12 but the visitors never got closer. Chris Abbott scored 4-1 in the empty net. The main topic of the discussions after the game was how Linköping's Lee Goren could avoid a match penalty after his attack from behind on Luleå's Robin Jacobsson.
Timrå IK - Växjö Lakers HC
0 - 2 (0-0, 0-1, 0-1)
Pretty much all hope to avoid Kvalserien is gone for Timrå that lost 2-0 at home to Växjö. Växjö still has a small chance to get to the playoffs but is 13 points behind Brynäs. Robert Rosén and Jan Hlavac got the goals tonight. Fredrik Norrena in the net earned his 40th Elitserien shutout.
Rögle BK - HV 71
1 - 4 (0-0, 0-2, 1-2)
After a scoreless first period HV 71 had no problem to beat Rögle. Patrik Carlsson and William Karlsson scored during the first half of the second period. Mats Trygg added 0-3 at 50:41. With five minutes remaining Ted Brithén scored Rögle's only goal. HV captain Johan Davidsson added 4-1 in the empty net three minutes later.
Färjestads BK - Skellefteå AIK
0 - 1 (0-1, 0-0, 0-0)
At 17:54 Fredrik Lindgren scored the only goal of the game. Färjestad fired 28 shots but Joacim Eriksson who has been selected to represent Sweden at the Oddset Hockey Games saved them all.
