Canada took a huge step towards the quarterfinals with a more than clear 7-1 win against completely helpless Norwegians.
In the first period the underdogs from Norway were simply over run by the Canadians who scored four goals and outshot Norway 13-1.

The Norwegians stepped up in the second period in which the teams scored a goal each.
In the third it was all about Canada again. they scored another two goals to win the game 7-1 and take a huge step towrds the quarter finals.
Tayler Hall scored two goals and Steve Stamkos had a goal and three assists. Andrew Ladd, Jeff Skinner, Matt Duchene and Claude Giroux scored the Canadian goals in the first period. Ken Andre Olimb got Norway's goal.
Norway is still in a playoff spot. Their remaining games are against Sweden (tomorrow), Belarus, Switzerland and Czech Republic.
