Four new faces, included superstar Alexei Ponikarovsky, in the roster for the first training camp
Defenders Yuri Navarenko and Igor Kugut and forwards Alexei Ponikarovsky and Evgeny Belukhin are the new faces in Ukraine list for the first training camp of the new season, helding in Donetsk from August 20 to 25, during which will play twice against France, on 24 and 25. Ponikarovsky returns to national team after his recent sign with SKA St. Petersburg. He played Olympic Qualification last November during NHL lock-out. Donbas Donetsk forward Evgeny Belikhin earns his first cap having completed two seasons in Ukraine. Sarov-born player has now the right to play for the national team of Ukraine in compliance with all the rules on obtaining Ukrainian citizenship.
