Torpedo takes advatage over SKA, Dynamo wins over Severstal, Lokomotiv back on winning path
SKA's recent uncertain form gets them torn apart once again. Torpedo romped a 5:2 win over the leaders. Jarkko Immonen was the key, he stroke three time to secure the win. The team has been plagued with inconsistency but they assured the memorable win. Daniil Zharkov opened the scoring in the 10th minute, Immonen stretched to 3:0, adding another one on the powerplay for 4:1. Topredo thus assured a big victory and will look forward to build up from that.
After a few uncertainties and inconsistent form, Dynamo is back on track with a win over Sevestal 3:1. Filip Novak, Konstantin Volkov and Martins Karsums in the first period assured the win for the champs. Despite Nikolai Bushuyev getting one back in the second, Severstal couldn't turn the game around.
In Podolsk Lokomotiv snapped a win in a very balanced and tied game. Korolyuk scored a goal and added an assist but Anton But put the end to the game with his late game-winner to get Loko back on the track. Daniil Apalkov and Yegor Averin had scored before to assure the win, the final result being 3:2.
In other games Alexander Burmistrov scored the gamewinner as Ak Bars beat Atlant 4:2. Admiral was defeated for the first time at home as Lev beat them 3:2. Enver Lisin ensured the overtime but Topi Jaakola lit the lamp to get Lev new points. CSKA wins in overtime at Novokuznetsk as Maxim Goncharov got the decider. Slovan started hard in Khabarovsk scoring 5 in the first 25 minutes to get away with a 5:2 win. Dinamo Riga is also back to winning as Marcel Hossa scored twice in a 4:1 victory.
