Davos keeps the momentum
Lausanne lose at home against Davos; Federico Tamo get's his first start in seven years;
Lausanne
0-1 Davos
For
the "new kids", every game is like a new challenge. After
conceding two losses last weekend against Zug (2-1 OT) and Lugano (
2-1 SO), Lausanne was beaten 1-0 by Davos at home.
At
Davos, Czech players aren't there anymore but the Scandinavian legion
seems to work very well . And coach Arno del Curto knows how maximize
the performance of his players . Even when his team don't give 100%, Del Curto knows how to win a hockey game. The team is playing bad? The coach
demands a time-out and let the players know that he's not happy. The
result? 30 seconds later Davos scores by
a shot from Ville Koistinen from the left. Then Finnish defenseman
sent the puck across a forest of players. The puck ended up in the
net of Lausanne's goalie. Genoni was the best player on ice with 28
saves and a shutout.
Geneva
6-4 Lakers
After
a week of unprecedented media attention Federico Tamo lived his first
start in the National League A. The evening began with a
standing ovation from fans when the goalie came on the ice. Support
was also added by his teammates. About the game? Permissive defenses
give a lot of goals:
Geneva's
line composed by Picard(2 goals and 1 assist), Almond(1 goal and 3
assists) and Simek(1 assist) was particularly
inspired Thursday night.
