Former defender will lead Estonia at WJC in December
Estonia Federation appointed former Finnish player Sami Helenius as new U20 national team headcoach.
39-year-old
Helenius played 155 NHL games for Calgary Flames, Tampa Bay Lightning,
Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars and Chicago Blackhawks and 394 games in Finnish League with Pelicans, Ilves and Jokerit. He completed
the career in 2010 and worked as coach in Jokerit junior department.
Estonia
will play in Division II, Group A in Miskolc, Hungary from 15 to 21
December 2013 along with Hungary, Croatia, Lithuania, Netherlands and
Romania.
