Ak Bars Kazan beat Barys Astana 3-0 and Salavat Yulaev Ufa got a 3-1 win over Sibir Novosibirsk to move to 2-0 leads in the series in the KHL 1/8 finals. Avangard Omsk and Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk also won today and tied their series.

3-0 in today´s KHL 1/8 final to move to a 2-0 lead in the series.

Salavat Yulaev Ufa also moved to a 2-0 series lead after today´s
3-1 victory over Sibir Novosibirsk. Sibir took the lead at 24:20 when Stepan Sannikov beat Salavat´s goalie Erik Ersberg, but Petr Schastlivy, Igor Grigorenko and Kirill Koltsov scored for Ufa to give the home team the win.
