Slovakia forward won't probably be in the line-up against Russia, Slovenia defender will miss clash against USA

Tomas Kopecky will continue to play at the Olympics. At the same time, according to the press attache of the Slovakian team Tomáš Štulajter his participation in the match with Russia is questionable. suspension following a review by the IIHF disciplinary panel, the IIHF announced Sunday.
Kovacevic
was suspended for an elbow to the head and neck area of Slovakia forward Tomas
Kopecky during the second period of the game between Slovenia and
Slovakia on Saturday 15 February. The
disciplinary panel determined Kovacevic extended and directed his elbow to
contact the head and neck area of Kopecky. Defender will miss Slovenia’s final preliminary round game against United States on
Sunday.
