Aleksander Barkov ruled out of men’s ice hockey competition through injury

Finland men's ice hockey player Aleksander Barkov will miss the remainder of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games after suffering a lower body injury, the Finnish ice hockey federation confirmed on Saturday without elaborating on the exact nature of the injury. Barkov, 18, had been the youngest player taking part in the men's ice hockey competition.
