Irrepressible Sergei Mozyakin picks up four points in a memorable evening for Magnitka's fans. Series is now tied at 2 and moving to Magnitogorsk, but Metallurg are on fire.
Seven points for Metallurg's first-line, four of them for indestructible Sergei Mozyakin. Lev have now recorded a home loss, Magnitka are on fire, coming home for Game 5 and this could literally go any side now.
Sergei Mozyakin specialized in assisting two forwards in Game 4 - twice for Viktor Antipin to level the score 2:2 and 3:3, but then to Danis Zaripov for his 8th and 9th tallies in the playoffs that lifted Metallurg high above Lev.
Trading comebacks from Metallurg's lead to open the game early, when Yaroslav Khabarov scores at 3:57, to Lev's lead by the end of the first period - David Ullstrom anulled the lead and Justin Azevedo turned the game around. A minute later Mozyakin-Zaripov-Antipin connection ties the score again.
After fireworks in the first period both teams scored one apiece in the second frame - Ondrej Nemec lifts Lev at 26:02, while Antipin racks up his second of the night tying the score once again.
Not a minute into the third period the same connection with different scorer - Antipin-Mozyakin-Zaripov get the lead for Metallurg before they secured the win on a powerplay 4 minutes later.
Danis Zaripov picked up 3 points on the night (2+1), just as Viktor Antipon while Jan Kovar had two assists.
The series now move back to the Eastern Conference champion's home arena in Magnitogorsk, a game that could prove crucial in the outcome.
