Kimmo Timonen in hospital with blood clots

In a short statement Philadelphia Flyers says the Finnish defender is treated in hospital for blood clots.
39 year old Finnish defender Kimmo Timonen is in hospital in Finland treated for blood clots in his right leg and both lungs according to a statement from GM Ron Hextall on the website of the Kimmonen's club Philadelphia Flyers.
Kimmonen played 77 regular season games in the 2013/2014 season and has over 1000 NHL games in total but now it's uncertain how severe his condition is and it's unknown when (or if) he will be able to return to hockey.
