An overtime goal gives first victory for Dijon in Amiens.
AMIENS - DIJON 2-3 (1-1,0-1,1-0,0-1)
Dijon's residents were greeted by a big pressure on Buysse cage from the kickoff. Amiens settles in the offensive zone without being able to find positions to shoot. The two minutes of penalty inflicted on Thomas Roussel for roughing facilitated the work of the Gothics, which are opening the score on their first opportunity. Buysse leaves a rebound taken over by Vanderveeken, after a first shot of Stockton (1-0, 4'36). An advantage that the Picardians maintain not long ago. While a penalty is called, , Romain Gutierrez slips the puck between the legs of goalkeeper for the equalization (7'26).
Solid behind Dijon kills then easily an inferiority at the very beginning of the second period, before reaching to take advantage to five against four, thanks to Briand who takes a shot far by Dame-Malka (1-2, 26'55).
Jarno Tolvanen's players project very quickly forward and dominate the end of the second period. Thanks to an excellent return of Champagne before Gascon (29'00)and a good O'Keefe in goal,Amiens prevented Dijon to make the break, while Buysse is saved by his post just before the second break.
Despite two new superiorities, Dijon is unable to score the third goal and is caught ten minutes from the end, when Romain Bault managed to beat Buysse taking a shot of Axel Rioux (2-2, 49'27). Pushed by their fans, the Gothics confiscate the puck until the end of the game. Dijon comes out well when the referee denies a goal to the Picards three minutes from the end of the match.
In overtime, Martin Gascon inherits a puck that hangs out front of the net and just crucify his former team, providing the Dukes their first win of the season(2-3, 62'15).
