In SHL today Leksand lost for the fourth game in a row. Luleå still tops the standings after narrow win over Brynäs.

 
 
 
 

Leksands IF  -  Skellefteå AIK 0 - 2 (0-0, 0-0, 0-2)

Leksand kept the home game against the 2014 champion Skellefteå scoreless for a long time, but eventually the visitors got a couple of goals. Andrew Calof beat Oscar Alsenfelt five-hole at 46:36 and Tim Heed made it 2-0 with a rocket that hit both goal posts before crossing the line. Markus Svensson in Skellefteå's net made 28 saves. Leksand have opened the SHL season with four losses and are four points behind the closest contenders Örebro and Brynäs.

Luleå HF  -  Brynäs IF 2 - 1 (0-0, 1-1, 1-0)

Luleå is still undefeated after 2-1 against Brynäs. Kristian Näkyvä decided the game with a blueliner five minutes before the end. In the middle of the second period Luleå's veteran defenseman Jan Sandström opened the scoring with his third goal of the season. Last season he got no goals in 45 games. Bill Sweatt tied it for Brynäs two minutes later.

Frölunda HC  -  Djurgårdens IF 2 - 1 (1-0, 1-0, 0-1)

Frölunda outshot the newcomer Djurgården 33-13 but only got a 2-1 win. Oliver Bohm scored for Frölunda in the first period and Elias Fälth in the opening of the second. At 36 seconds of the last period Marcus Sörensen scored a beauty for Djurgården but his team could never tie it.

Linköping HC  -  Örebro HK 3 - 0 (1-0, 1-0, 1-0)

Linköping scored a goal in each period and David Rautio earned his first shutout of the season when Linköping got a solid win in front of only 5035 fans in Saab Arena. Broc Little (penalty shot), Chad Kolarik and Jonas Almtorp (empty net) got the goals.

MODO Hockey  -  HV 71 4 - 1 (2-0, 1-1, 1-0)

Per-Åge Skrøder scored twice in MODO's 4-1 win over HV 71. Victor Olofsson and Mattias Ritola also got goals for the home team. HV's goalies Erik Ersberg and Gustaf Wesslau allowed two goals each and their goal was scored by Christoffer Törngren.

Växjö Lakers HC  -  Färjestads BK 3 - 4 (0-1, 1-0, 2-2, 0-0, 0-1)  

Färjestad was down 3-1 with three minutes to go but Linus Persson and Shawn Lalonde got a goal each to tie it. Linus Persson then decided the shootout.
