The outsiders are in control with new victory for Epinal, Chamonix and Strasbourg.
Epinal – Rouen 5-3 (1-0, 2-3, 2-0)
Epinal continues to impress. TheGamYo dominated one of the favourites for the title. Epinal led the score 2-0 then 3-1 but Rouen could survive thanks to two goals of Loic Lamperier. Epinal however won the game with two goals in the last five minutes by Peter Valier and Vincent Kara.
Gap – Strasbourg 1-4 (0-2, 0-0, 1-2)
The “Black Star” took a good start in this game(2-0 after 13 mn).Bostjan Golicic scored a goal for hope but Tarik Chipaux who scored two goals for his first game for Strasbourg and Jordy Angles in the empty net secured a new victory for the alsacian club
Brest – Chamonix 3-4 OT (2-1, 0-1, 1-1, 0-1)
Chamonix remains on the top with a hard win in Brest. Brest dominated all the match with a hat-trick by Bnejamin Bréault but Chamonix was still in the match with a goal of Julien Tremblay five seconds before the end of the game in a six-on-five period. Chamonix secured the victory 37 seconds during the overtime with a goal of defender Mathieu Jestin.
Dijon – Morzine-Avoriaz 9-1 (3-0, 2-0, 4-1)
Dijon had the easy win of the week-end.Anthony Reich and Aram Kevorkian scored four points and Mathieu Briand scored three goals.
Grenoble – Amiens 5-2 (2-0, 1-0, 2-2)
Grenoble replaced in the middle of the standing with a convincing win against the Gothics. Grenoble was too fast for Amiens who avoided a catastrophic loss thanks to Mitch O’Keefe. F.Petit (2+1),M.Sivic (1+2) and a fantastic Chouinard were the men of the match.
Caen – Lyon 2-5 (0-2, 1-1, 1-2)
Second victory for the Lions who wasn’t afraid in Caen. The last period offered a poor spectacle with many penalties and game misconduct penalties for Caen’s defenders Nicolas Deshaies and Mathias Arnaud. Kevin Gadoury scored twice;
Briançon – Angers 5-4 OT (1-0, 3-3, 0-1, 1-0)
First win for the reigning champion against an outsider for the title.Briancon led all over the match with a remarkable Dave Labrecque (one goal and two assists) but a nervous defense permitted to Angers to equalize with a short-handed goal by Robin Gaborit. Cory Pritz scored the GWG during the overtime.
After three matches Epinal leads the league with six points as Chamonix and Strasbourg.In the bottom Caen and Morzine-Avoriaz stay with no point.
