HIFK and Lukko grab the last two Finnish semi final spots

HIFK and Lukko both were down 2-0 in their semi final series after two games, but both managed to come back and win the series in seven game. Both teams won 5-1 today and at the next stage, the semi finals, they will face each other. The other semi final will be played between JYP and Blues.

The best player of the game, young seper talent
Mikael Granlund, opened the scoring for HIFK after five minutes. Juha-Pekka Haataja made it 2-0 at the same time of the second period. Janne Lahti scored the visitor's only goal at 30:37. A minute and a half later, Kimmo Kuhta restored HIFK's 2-goal lead. Jerry Ahtola made it 4-1 at 36:08 and Lennart Petrell scored an empty-netter when Jokerit had pulled Jan Lasak during the final minutes in a last attempt to get back into the game.
