The Lokomotiv still hasn’t reached the end station

Lokomotiv could have faced elimination from the KHL semi finals today but they managed to win 4-2 away to Atlant and are still in the playoffs - even if they are down 3-1 in the series.

Ivan Tkachenko scored 1-0 for the guests Lokomotiv at 12 minutes in the first period. Then it took another 30 minutes before the next goal was added to the score when Yuri Urychev made it 2-0. At 49:08 Marat Kalimulin made it 3-0 for Lokomotiv and the game seemed to be decided. But with four and a half minute remaining Ivan Nepryaev made it 1-3 and in the last minute Sergei Mozyakin scored a second goal for Atlant. Instead of an equalizer, Pavol Demitra made it 4-2 with 6 seconds remaining.
Atlant leads the series 3-1.
