There will be no continuation for former NHL star Fabian Brunnström in Malmö Redhawks. -"To play in Europe would not be totaly wrong," Fabian says to insideredhawks.
Fabian Brunnström is one of the best forwards in Swedish Hockey and he was one of the best players in Malmö Redhawks past season. Fabian played an important role when Malmö once again managed to come back to SHL. But, for upcoming season, Malmö Redhawks didn't have a spot for him in the team.
Fabian is an experienced player. He's been representing teams in NHL, AHL, SHL and HockeyAllsvenskan. Brunnström played 193 games in SHL and recorded a total of 91 points (35 goals and 56 assists). In HockeyAllsvenskan he represented Malmö Redhawks in 20 games and reached 13 points.
But where the 30-year old former NHL star will play in the future, he don't know: -"There's nothing much going on for the moment, but I'm open for anything. To play in Europe wouldn't be totaly wrong," Fabian says to insideredhawks.
