With with seconds remaining of the semifinal Lokomotiv Yaroslavl tied it against Atlant and later won the game in overtime. If Atlant had won the series would have been over, but now it is still alive. Atlant leads 3-2.

Atlant appeared to be the stronger team today and had a 2-0 lead after goals by Sergei Mozyakin and Jaroslav Obsut. Lokomotiv didn't give up and out-shot Atland 13-3 in the third period. Ivan Tkachenko made it 1-2 at 50:39 and Aleksandr Galimov tied it with just 5 seconds remaining of regulation.

At 69:50 Ivan Tkachenko scored his second goal of the game and Lokomotiv won its second game of the semi final series.
