Chaika Niznhy Novgorod - Dinamo-Shinnik Bobruisk 3-1 Dinamo-Shinnik of Belarus took the lead in the middle of period one but Mikhail Smolin tied it just 4 seconds before the first break. Artyom Alyayev and Roman Gorbunov scored in period 2 and 3 to give the Russians a 3-1 win.
Djurgårdens IF - TPS Turku 1-3 Juho Niku in the TPS net made 30 saves when TPS of Finland beat Djurgården of Sweden. Santeri Sillanpää, Juho Virtanen and Matias Lehtonen got the goals for the winners.
