When the puck drops in Arena Karlskrona on Wednesday September 16, it will be a historic day in the organizations history. For the first time in the clubs history, Karlskrona are in the highest league in Sweden.

As always when it comes to predict how the season is going to be for a newcomer, all experts have declared a tough season for Karlskrona. The team have signed a couple of SHL experienced player, to counteract the sudden effect of being in a tougher league.

-"We know that we're not going to be favorites, but we are not a team that you just come and take three points against. We're going to be a hard team to meet and that never gives up," Joel Kellman, player Karlskrona HK said.

Karlskrona HK have played 10 preseson games, won 5 and lost 5. Karlskrona ended up in 10th place in the preseason table, with 17 points a +/- of +6 (30-24). Hopefully the team will take some more points during regular season and the players who's suppose to this, are Toni Kähkönen, Riley Holzapfel and Joachim Rohdin.

Among the new players, we also find Linus Fernström, Anton Grundel, Mattias Guter and John Henrion. Patrick Galbraith, Tom Linder, Slava Truhkno and Joel Kellman have all re-assigned with the club. So there's a great amount of heart for the club.

-"I absolutely think that we can surprise some opponents," Joel Kellman said.

Karlskrona's historical opening game will be against Färjestad BK on Wednesday September 16th in Arena Karlskrona, Karlskrona, Sweden.
