All the DEL action from yesterday's games.
Another entertaining matchday has finished, and the DEL goes on with some interesting developments.
Straubing, after a 3-1 loss against Hamburg, has to cede again the top of the table, while Nuremberg can reach the number one spot again: the derby against Munich was indeed successful for the Franconians, who won 4-1 but still have to worry about two new faces on the podium: Kölner Haie and the Iserlohn Roosters, who both won yesterday. The Sharks from Cologne literally submerged Berlin under a rain of scores, winning 6-1 at home, while Iserlohn conquered the rink in Wolfsburg 4-2. Both the teams from North Rhine Westphalia have a game less to be counted, though, so that their future matches will be decisive for the destiny of the Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers at the top of the league.
Still a bad day for Mannheim and Ingolstadt: both last year's finalists lost against Krefeld Pinguine and Düsseldorfer EG respectively. Mannheim is now eleventh, while Ingolstadt sank directly to the thirteenth position, with a negative record of 3-1-6.
