Atlant made it to the KHL finals

With a solid 8-2 win in the sixth game of the semi final series against Lokomotiv, Atlant is as the first team qualified for the KHL finals. The series was won 4-2.

Atlant is in the finals after today's 8-2 win at home and a 4-2 win of the series. Oleg Petrov was hottest on the ice with three goals.
Lokomotiv took the lead of the game at 2:34 when Andrei Subbotin beat Konstantin Barulin in Atlant's net. Only 31 seconds later Dmitri Upper tied the game for Atlant.
At three minutes of the second period Atlant took the lead when Jan Marek scored a power play goal. Sergei Mozyakin's 3-1 goal would come only a minute later. With one minute remaining of the second period Oleg Petrov scored his first goal of the game for 4-1.
Lokomotiv got contact again with a 4-2 goal a few minutes into the last period but this time Atlant replied even faster than at the first LLokomotiv goal. Oleg Petrov made it 5-2 19 seconds after Alexander Galimov's 4-2.
The game was definitely won when Jaroslav Obsut made it 6-2 at 52:44. Oleg Petrov and Igor Musatov added a goal each for the final score of 8-2.
Atlant will play either Salavat or Magnitogorsk in the finals. Salavat leads that series 3-2.
