Salavat Yulaev signed a contract with the young Russian forward Kirill Kabanov until the end of the year.
Salavat Yulaev continued to maintain the form (six consecutive wins) until today and on October 24 Salavat Yulaev signed a full contract with the young Russian forward Kirill Kabanov until the end of the year. Last year Kirill Kabanov played for the SHL team Skellefteå AIK where he had 11 goals/ 18 assists (=29 points) in 43 games in the SHL and 3 goals/3 assists (=6 points) in 13 games in the play-offs. He also recorded 1 goals/2 assists (=3 points) for 9 games in the Champions Hockey League. Also, in the middle of the season before Kirill Kabanov was seriously injured (broken ribs), and didn’t play for a long time.
In general, Kirill Kabanov will be an excellent attacking addition for Salavat Yulaev’s already strong offensive game. Kirill Kabanov is 23 years old and he has a good future for the Salavat Yulaev and surely for the Russian team.
Today (on October 26) Salavat Yulaev without Kirill Kabanov lost at home 5-6 to Admiral Vladivostok. It was the first loss for Salavat Yulaev in the seven last games.
