Nicklas Jensen who has spend this season in AHL was the Danish attacker of the day with two goals. He scored 1-0 early in the second period with a nifty move that fooled Norwegian goalie Lars Haugen. He also scored an empty net goal just 15 seconds before the end to secure the Danish 3-0 win. Before that, Jesper B Jensen had made it 2-0 with a nice shot from the right circle.
Norway dominated the play and outshot Denmark 44-28, but the lacked efficiency. "We made two errors and they scored on both. That's brutal!", says Norwegian veteran Mathis Olimb to VG.
