"Basically the result was fine, but there are still things we can improve," Shipachyov said to IIHF.com. "Is this the best this line can play? No, of course not. We're still looking to do more together."
Shipachyov got two goals and three assists against Denmark and leads the championship in scoring with three goals and seven assists after four of the seven group stage games. Panarin and Dadonov are second and third in scoring.
Russia holds the second place in Group A after Czech Republic. Games against Switzerland, Norway and Sweden remain. Denmark struggle on the bottom half with four points after four games. Denmark still has to play Latvia, Czech Republic and Kazakhstan. If they lose all three they relegate.
