Salavat close to the KHL title

With today's 3-2 win away to Atlant, Salavat now leads the KHL finals 3-0. Patrick Thoresen scored the winning goal in the third period.

Salavat takes a 3-0 lead of the KHL final series with the 3-2 win today.
Sergei Zinoviev gave Salavat the lead at 3:43 but Atlant tied it in the middle of the first period when Jaroslav Obsut scored on power-play. Salavat once again took the lead a couple of minutes into the middle act when Oleg Saprykin beat Konstantin Barulin in Atlant's net. Evgueni Nourislamov tied the game again at 28:25.
Patrick Thoresen's game-winner was scored at 52:45 assisted by Dmitri Kalinin.
Game 4 is played on Thursday.
