Three teams won't lining up to run in 2017-18 with Vienna Capitals second team as only addition

The next MOL Liga will start without three teams partecipating last season. Dunarea Galati, HK Beograd and Debreceni HK. Dunarea didn't submit the apply for 2017-2018 within the deadline and the club seems to have serious financial issues, with unpaid wages in arrears. Dunarea fans opened a petition online asking the for the president Mihai Brandabur to leave while the future of club champion of Romania in 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 is strongly at risk of closure.
HK Beograd project, a club funded by Serbian Federation seems at the end after only one season of existence after almost all players signed for Crvena Zvezda that very likely will compete in Slovenian League. Serbian Federation Marko Milovanovic admits the team has just two players confirmed at moment, so they can not be competitive, hoping the team will soon return to the league
The most surprising decision concerns last season semi-finalist Debreceni HK that announced the club will not participate in the next MOL league citing financial difficulties.
The only new entry should be a sort of second team of EBEL champion Vienna Capitals, following the paths of SAPA Fehervar
