The final continental cup group game took place in Rungsted between Sheffield Steelers of Great Britain and Kurbads Riga of Latvia.

Sheffield Steelers advanced to the Super Final at the expense of Latvian team Kurbads Riga.

This game was effectively settled by a five minute major penalty in the first period. Cipulis for Kurbads received a Game Misconduct and a five minute penalty when he ran Levi Nelson into the boards in the eleventh minute. Sheffield Steelers took full advantage scoring three times with the man advantage through WESTERLING, ROY and NELSON. During that period Kurbads got a goal back short handed through GRICINSKIS.

They brought the game to within one goal when, with Scott Aarssen off for two minutes MARTINS GIPTERS scored.

The rest of the game was dominated by a strong Sheffield side and O'CONNOR scored an empty net goal with just four seconds remaining.
