Twelve teams will compete for the trophy between January and February
The Parimatch - Kazakhstan Cup will be held from January 27 to February 2 in three cities, Kokshetau, Pavlodar and Karaganda
.Participants will be divided into three groups according to the ranking of the previous season.
Group A matches will be held in Kokshetau, group B teams will play in Pavlodar, group C will be hosted by Karaganda.
Group A: Arlan Kokshetau, Kulager Petropavlovsk, HK Temirtau, Nomad Nur-Sultan
Group B: Ertis Pavlodar, Altai Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk, HK Aktobe, Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk
Group C: HK Almaty, Beibarys Atyrau, Gornyak Rudny, Saryarka Karaganda
At the preliminary stage, the teams will play in a round robin system. Group winners and the best team finished second will automatically advance to the final round.
Then the teams will form semi-final pairs, the winners of which will fight for the main trophy. The teams that lost in the semifinals will play a bronze medal game.The final four will be held in Karaganda.
Betting company "Parimatch" will be the title sponsor of the Kazakhstan Cup and in the next three seasons the tournament will be called "Parimatch - Kazakhstan Ice Hockey Cup".
