Russia wins again. Sweden beat Finland.
Russia followed up Thursday's shootout win against Sweden with a 4-1 victory over the Czechs. Two points against Finland tomorrow will secure the home tournament win even if Sweden beats Czech Republic in the early game.
Russia got a great start with goals by Anton Burdasov and Andrei Kuzmenko in the first ten minutes. Lukas Sedlak scored the only Czech goal of the day later in the first period. Maxim Mamin scored twice in the third period for the final score of 4-1. The last goal was scored in the empty net.
