CSKA Moscow beat Lokomotiv Yaroslavl 2-0 in the seventh quarter final to join SKA St. Petersburg, Avangard Omsk and Ak Bars Kazan in the KHL semi finals.
The CSKA-Lokomotiv series is the only one of the KHL playoffs to go to game seven so far. CSKA scored twice in the first period. First Mat Robinson at 7:32 and then Maxim Shalunov at 12:31. Lars Johansson in the CSKA net made 24 saves for his third shutout in the playoffs and CSKA won the game 2-0.
In the semi finals CSKA will play St. Petersburg in the western conference. In the east Ak Bars Kazan will play Avangard Omsk.
