Japan win the Asia battle against China
Japan remains unbeaten placing China in a difficult position in the race for promotion
Japan wins a crucial match for promotion against China which slowed in the third period after playing level for the first two times, perhaps feeling tired from the tough match against Ukraine the previous day, decided in overtime.
In the first period, China took the lead twice, with Spencer Foo and Cory Kane, retrieved by the Japanese in the central period, with a good defense and quick counterattacks, who scored the overtaking goal at 37:30 again with Teruto Nakajima, the young striker already protagonist yesterday against the Netherlands. At 43:20 Yuto Osawa's goal gives the Japanese the decisive advantage.
China removes the goalkeeper with almost three minutes of play but the Chinese attacks are frustrated by Nakajima's empty goal again for the final 5-2.
Three points that can be worth a lot for Japan with a view to the final victory. The Japanese have shown, against a more demanding opponent than the Netherlands, that they are a very balanced team, as evidenced by the fact that 10 different players have scored in two games
