China easily blanks Serbia

After yesterday's disappointing performance, China has no problems against Serbia

China made no mistake twice and after the unexpected defeat against Holland, this time coach Ireland's troop, without Alex Riche injured, took to the ice concentrated and determined to demonstrate their technical superiority against Serbia, still last in the standings with the point won on debut.

The match has a predictable course, with the Chinese constantly attacking the opponent's goal, well defended by Arsenje Rankovic, who however will have to concede 4 goals, out of 32 shots on goal, before leaving the cage to Akim Padalitsa in the last period.

Of the Chinese goals, a mention for the nice long range shot, which slipped into the top corner, by Jake Chelios for the 2-0. The impression is that the Chinese won easily without even pushing hard, given the big difference in level with the Serbs who now have only one chance, to win against the Netherlands, to avoid relegation, which however, as seen in these days, that seems likely
