Latvia takes vital win against Belarus

Martins Cipulis and Georgijs Pujacs scored two goals each when Latvia won their first game of the tournament.
All is set for big drama in the relgeation round with all teams tied at three points when the final round starts.
Latvia built their win in the first period winning it 3-1. Cipulis opened the score with a power play goal and Pujacs scored two goals to make it 3-0 before Belarus got a late goal.
The second period was Belarus' and Grabovski made it 2-3 early but Nizivijs scored the psychology important 4-2 goal when Belarus was close to an equalizer.
When Cipulis scored his second goal of the game on a power play halfway through the third the game was over, both teams added one goal each for a final result at 6-3 for Latvia.
