Newcomer of Belarussian League grabs the traditional opening season trophy held in Grodno
Slavutich Smolensk from Russia, newcomer in the next edition of Belarussian League, won the XIX edition of traditional tournament in memory of Alexander Dubko, that marks the beginning of summer season in the European hockey, held in Grodno, Belarus.
Slavutich headcosch Ivan Usenko summoned up the performance of the team at the tournament:"It is always nice to win, no matter if it is a tournament or just games. I liked the team's play, they mostly did what we asked and demanded from them. The team showed the game we want to see - fast and active".
