VHL welcomes three new clubs for 2011-12

Russian Second Division will allign 23 clubs with addition of Titan Klin, Sokol Krasnoyarsk and Ukranian Donbass Donetsk
During the
Vysshaya League General Meeting was approved the entrance of three new team for next season:
Titan Klin,
Sokol Krasnoyarsk and Ukranian champion
Donbass Donetsk. Each Russian club will pay a 3,5 million rubles entrance fee while 5 million is the fee for Donbass. Another candidate - Krylia Sovetov Rostov - did not provide the necessary documents to be evaluate, so its application wasn't considered.
Titan Klin entrance was approved with reservation due to minors problems with the hotel and dressing rooms at the local Valery Kharlamov Ice Palace. Club guarantees to solve all the "bugs" in next month.
In June all 23 clubs must prove their financial security, or VHL will not confirm their application. Serious economic troubles affected traditional
Krylia Sovetov Moscow, which may leave the league even before the beginning of next month.
VHL board also decided that all clubs will have to allign their junior team in the newly established Molodezhnaya Hockey League
(MHL) Division B
