Fedor Fedorov scored the winner when SKA St. Petersburg beat Dinamo Riga in a shootout game. Spartak won the Moscow derby against Dynamo.

Fedor Fedorov beat Chris Holt on the first shot in the shootout. Ilya Ezhov in SKA's net saved all three for the win.
