Finland’s first line magnificent

The Finnish top line with Jarkko Immonen, Janne Pesonen and Mikael Granlund were behind all goals and Niko Hovinen earned the shutout when Finland beat Czech Republic 4-0 on the second day of Karjala Tournament (EHT).

The Finnish first line with the forwards Jarkko Immonen, Janne Pesonen and Mikael Granlund in front of the defensemen Janne Niskala and Jyrki Välivaara were behind all goals when Finland beat the Czech's 4-0 in Hartwall Arena.
"The same feeling that we had last spring in the World Championship is coming back", says Immonen who scored the first two goals and then assisted the third.
1-0 was scored at 3:29 of the first period. At 25 seconds of the second period Immonen beat Jakub Stepanek in the Czech net for the second time.
Seven minutes later Immonen assisted Janne Pesonen for 3-0 and with eight minutes remaining of the game Janne Niskala scored a power play goal for 4-0.
Niko Hovinen in the Finnish net played his first EHT game and made 22 saves to earn the shutout. "It feels good", he says. "I had expected more shots".
Finland will play Sweden in the last game tomorrow.
