Barys won a third straight game beating Metallurg Novokuznetsk on the road. Aleksandr Golovin opened the scoring at 10:21 with two Barys players in the penalty box. In the second period Barys took the lead of the game after Kevin Dallmann and Nigel Douz goals. Evgeny Bumagin scored early in the third period to bring Metallurg back. When the game was going to the overtime Kevin Dallmann fed a pass to Kamil Kreps, who scores a game winning goal at 59:36.
"There are not any claims to players, but some guys want to save the world and make mistakes that turns into away team goals," Anatoly Emelin head coach of Metallurg said to Novokuznetsk Sport Portal. "If early we wagged finger, now we made specific actions."

Traktor lost one point in the game against league outsider Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg. Avtomobilist grabbed a 1-0 lead in the middle of the second period, when Denis Osipov scored from Denis Sokolov's pass. Traktor dominated in the third period and outshot Avtomobilist 15-6, but could only tie the game. When it was only one minute and 44 seconds to play Aleksandr Ryazantsev scored a power-play goal with Aleksandr Streltsov in the penalty box for holding. Vladimir Antipov closed the game 2-1 with 2:55 left in the overtime with a shot after a pass of young Russian star Evgeny Kuznetsov.

Spartak lost 13th of the last 16th games, Torpedo won a 9th straight home game. The first goal was scored at 4:46 when Martin Thörnberg's shot found a way between d-men who blocked Spartak's goalie Ivan Kasutin.
Spartak would tie things up when Stefan Ruzicka scored short-handed goal at 20:25. Torpedo pulled ahead 2-1 four minutes later, when Robert Nilsson's shot from the blue line find a way to Kasutin's net. Power-play goals by Juuso Hietanen and Mikhail Varnakov gave a Torpedo a three-goal lead. Vladimir Gorbunov closed it 5-1 with 5:15 left in third period.
Former Cherepovets player Sergey Soin scored the first goal of the game after a pass from Vyacheslav Kozlov at 11:01. In the second period the best scorer of the league Vadim Shipachyov fed a pass to Jozef Straka, who tied the game at 26:48. 42 seconds Dynamo power-play shift needed to pull ahead 2-1. Marek Kvapil scored after Dominik Granak's pass and snapped Dynamo's three games losing streak.
"It was validol game. Again we had problems with power-play," Oleg Znarok head coach of Dynamo said to Dynamo's official site. "At the morning session we had no problems with playing in non-equal squad. Maybe media shouldn't pay so much attention to this?"
