Goals and assists
The Clan moved closer to the league’s top four by shutting out the Lightning in Milton Keynes.
Craig Peacock put the visitors ahead after only 2:13 in the game, in a rink where the Scottish side lost heavily on their last visit in 2018.
Despite being heavily outshot in the middle period, and MK hitting the posts three times, the Clan held their lead through 40 minutes, and eventually made the game safe with 3:56 to go as Zack Fitzgerald converted for 2-0. Joel Rumpel turned away 33 shots in total for his shutout, while the win puts the Clan just a point behind Fife with a game in hand.
