Goals and assists
Fife Flyers continued to be unbeaten in regulation time in the Elite
League this season thanks to a home, shutout victory over Guildford
Flames.
Kyle Osterberg gave the home side the lead within five
minutes, with the Flames having an equaliser chalked off some four
minutes later for goalie interference which Head coach Tom Coolen
successfully challenged.
In the middle period, the Flyers made
their visitors pay for a Cross-Checking minor on Brett Ferguson with a
well-worked powerplay goal that ended with Ben Hawerchuck blasting the
puck past Eamon McAdam.
A bench minor for Too Many Men ended the
Flames' chances of of a fightback as Troy Lajeunesse slapped the puck
home with 9:42 to play.
