In the opening game of the U20 Super Challenge in Karlstad, Sweden, France U20 beat Italy U20 7-1.
Despite Italy taking an early lead in the first period, France quickly bounced back, tying the game in the second period and then taking control. The third period saw France explode with five more goals, led by Robinson Djian's hat-trick and Maxime Toukmatchev's late tally. France outshot Italy 61-17.
U20 teams of Hungary, Färjestad, BIK Karlskoga and Vålerenga also participate in the tournament.

The Watersley U20 Ice Hockey Tournament took place from August 9 to 11 at the Glanerbrook Ice Rink in Geleen, Netherlands, featuring four teams: Belgium, Great Britain, the Netherlands, and the Kölner Hale U20 team from Germany. The German team won all three games. Great Britain beat Belgium 4-0 and Netherlands 5-1. Netherlands beat Belgium 4-3.
Köln's Elias Aul was the top scorer with 6 goals and 2 assists. Finley Bradon lead Great Britain in scoring (3+1). Jaidy van Mourik was the leading Dutch scorer (1+2) while Lander Paulissen and Tobi Gentry were tied leaders of the Belgian team (2+0).

USA Blue dominated Sweden with a decisive 7-2 victory at the USA Hockey Arena.
USA Blue opened strong, leading 3-0 after the first period with goals from Max Plante, Brandon Svoboda, and Brodie Ziemer. Gabriel Perreault scored twice, extending the lead to 5-0 by the second period. Lukas Fischer and Oliver Moore added goals in the third period, making it 7-0.
Sweden managed two late goals from Isac Hedqvist and Jack Berglund.

In the opening game of the World Junior Summer Showcase on July 28, 2024, Team USA White edged out Finland with a 3-2 victory.
Joona Saarelainen scored twice for Finland, putting them ahead early and again in the second period. Quentin Musty and Cole Hutson scored for the USA to tie the game twice. The decisive goal came from James Reeder with just under a minute left, assisted by Hutson. Team USA had a stronger showing in shots, with a total of 25 compared to Finland's 19.

Switzerland and the Czech Republic faced off in a U20 hockey friendly at Vierumäki. The match, attended by 80 spectators, saw Switzerland triumph with a final score of 4-2.
The Czech team took an early lead, scoring twice. Miroslav Holinka and Petr Sikora netted the goals, giving the visitors a 2-0 advantage.
Switzerland responded strongly with three unanswered goals. Rafael Meier (x2) and Eric Schneller found the net, turning the game around.
Switzerland secured their victory with a final goal by Jan Dorthe, who scored on an empty net.

Switzerland won all of their three games at the U20 Summer Challenge in Zilina, Slovakia this weekend.
In the first game six different players scored for the Swiss team when Czech Republic was beaten 6-3. Switzerland had six scorers also in game two when they needed a shootout to defeat Germany 6-5. Philipp Kurashev scored twice in the third game when the tournament win was secured with a 4-2 win over the home team Slovakia.
Czech Republic beat Slovakia 2-1 (OT) and Germany 3-1 to finish second. Slovakia got the third place as they had beaten the German team 7-5 on the opening day.
Slovakia's Marian Studenic was the tournament's top scorer with three goals and two assists.

Team Switzerland U20 won the 4-nations U20 tournament in Dresden, Germany with a perfect record. Germany was beaten 4-2, Czech Republic 4-0 and Slovakia 3-0.
Swiss goalie Matteo Ritz was outstanding shutouts in both games he played. Damien Riat, also Switzerland, was the tournament's top scorer with three goals and two assists.
