In the last game day before the KHL All-star game in Riga Salavat Yulaev beat Dinamo 8-4 in Minsk.
Barys 6-1 AtlantAtlant lost all games at this road series in the Urals and Astana. Barys opened the scoring in a power-play with Jonas Junland's shot and the screen in front of Barulin at 16:44. Igor Musatov tied the game in the second period but in 23 seconds Alexei Litvinenko scored his first goal of the season and gave Barys a lead. Before the second intermission Andrew Hutchinson extended the lead of his team at 35:27. During a 19 second span in the third Barys scored twice with Kevin Dallman and Talgat Zhailaulov goals and pulled out Atlant goalie Konstantin Barulin. His backup Dimitri Kotschew conceded only one goal from Dallman who closed the game with a 6-1 score. 5 goals of Barys in this game were scored by defensemen.
Avtomobilist 1-5 SKAAfter a heroic win over Atlant, Avtomobilist was beaten at home by SKA. Vladimir Tarasenko in the third game for SKA earned a first point with an assist to Tony Mårtensson who opened the scoring in the first period. The leader of the West easily controlled the game and increased their lead to 5 goals with Anton Korolyov, Dmitry Kalinin, Viktor Tikhonov, Petr Pruha. Jakub Stepanek was closed to make a shutout but Alexei Krutov's goal with 26 seconds remaining in the third dashed his hopes. His opponent Ivan Lisutin faced 48 shots and stoned 43.
Traktor 2-3 Dinamo RigaTraktor made a surprise for their fans with losing to Dinamo Riga 2-3 at home. The Riga players took a quick lead with Girts Ankipans goal at 75 seconds of the first. Gennady Razin with a blue line shot tied the game early in the second but Marcel Hossa with 19 seconds remaining returned Dinamo to the lead. In the third Traktor again tied the game with Vladimir Antipov but a minute later Marcel Hossa scored again and led his team to a victory. Hossa may have played his best game of the season as he earned three points over the best team in the East.
CSKA 2-3 Ak BarsIn Moscow Ak Bars snapped CSKA's 4-game winning streak beating them 3-2. Oleg Petrov gave Kazan a quick lead at 01:56. Artemy Panarin and Alexei Tereshchenko assisted him on this play. Early in the second Alexei Badyukov was first on the rebound after a Denis Parshin shot in power-play. Former CSKA player Konstantin Korneyev returned Ak Bars to the lead with a middle shot at 32:08. Ilya Nikulin with a high shot extended the lead of his team at 48:23. CSKA scored the last goal of the night when Denis Parshin in power-play scored from the right wing.
Dinamo Mn 4-8 Salavat YulaevIt was only 14 seconds into the game when Libor Pivko opened the scoring with the first shot of the game. It could be predicted that the game wouldn't be goalless. Antti Pihlström after a denied shot from Mikhail Grigoryev was first on the rebound and tied the game at 05:52. But two goals were enough for the first. In the second Salavat Yulaev scored five times! Firstly Miroslav Blatyak in power-play, then Alex Radulov again in power-play, shorthanded goal by Igor Mirnov, Sergei Gimayev in even strength and Igor Grigorenko again in power-play. With 10 seconds remaining in the second Peter Podhradsky cut Ufa's lead to 4 goals. In the third scored the teams two goals each;Minsk with help of Teemu Laine and Alexander Kitarov, for Ufa Grigorenko and Pihlström scored their second goals of the night. It's funny but Alex Radulov earned three points (1+2) and was -2!
HC Lev 3-1 NeftekhimikIn the last game HC Lev won the first and last game against teams from Tatarstan and Bashkortostan republics. In the middle of the first Yegor Milovzorov gave Neftekhimik the lead with a pass from Tuukka Mäntylä and Martin Cibak. Tomas Netik early in the second tied the game in power-play. When it seemed that the game would continue in overtime Lubos Bartecko pulled HC Lev ahead at 57:58. Jaroslav Kristek added an empty-net goal to the whole deal.
