Gorokhov leads Dynamo to a win over Torpedo

The third game of the season between Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg and Traktor Chelyabinsk ended 2-1, and again Traktor got a win. In the middle of the first Traktor player Alexander Buturlin robbed a home team player and fired from the blue line; the puck after a ricochet got into Ivan Lisutin’s net at 11:22. It’s so difficult to predict that last team on the East will battle for a third time with East leader. In the third Avtomobilist tied the game with Ilya Malyushkin goal with passes from Denis Kazionov and Andrei Shepelenko at 49:02. The first shot in the overtime ended the game when Petri Kontiola used a pass from Konstantin Panov to close the game 2-1. Avtomobilist lost a 10th straight game before the New Year holidays.

Dynamo played at Balashikha-Arena, where HC MVD played last time in KHL in the 2009-10 playoffs, to beat Torpedo 3-2. At 06:25 Grigory Shafigulin dished a pass to Marek Kvapil, who found himself alone in the offensive zone and opened the scoring. In the second Mikhail Varnakov got a rebound after a nice move from Alexei Ugarov and tied the game. Ilya Gorokhov score twice during 20 seconds span in the third with two nice wrist shots under the crossbar. Torpedo tried to return the game but only managed to make 3-2 with Dmitry Vorobyev goal from the blue line.
