The visitors of Eurohockey.com voted Robbie Earl of Swiss Rapperswil-Jona Lakers as European Player of the Month for September 2013.
With a point per game score sheet (7 Goals / 2 Assists) Robbie Earl leads the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers after 9 games of the regular season in the NLA and currently finds himself on 5th place of the League's top scorers.
And although his +/- went from a +1 to a -2 after Fridays game in Bern he remains an important puzzle in the Lakers organization to forget last seasons Play-Out disappointment and bring some positive post season feelings to the fans.
Earl and his team mates will have to do a lot better if they want to make the Play-Offs, with 2 wins out of the first 9 games they find themselves on the bottom of the table. But the season just started and who knows what new coach Anders Eldebrink will do to motivate his players and especially his top scorer Robbie Earl.
