Last placed Timrå won on away ice after the memorial for Liv. AIK and Brynäs also won tonight.
AIK - Linköping 3-0The first game for Linköping's new coach Harald Lückner but it gave no positive effect for the team. Linköping has big problems with their goal scoring and is the only team that score less than two goals per game in average. AIK scored three goals in 2:33 in the second period to win this game. Viktor Fasth made 23 saves for the shutout and Linköping's Andreas Jämtin was sent off with game misconduct for slashing. "We lost the game during three minutes in the second period. It were to easy goal for AIK and it isn't good enough on this level", the new coach Lückner said after his first game.
HV 71 - Timrå 3-4Before the game the memory of Stefan Liv was honoured with his number 1 jersey raised to the rafters before the game. Perhaps the memorial before the game took energy from the home team who won 5-1 away to Timrå only three days ago. Today Timrå was the clearly better team and won 4-3 after two goals from Daniel Fleury. World Juniors top scorer Max Friberg was back in Timrå and scored his second goal of the season. But in the last minutes of the game you could see why Timrå is dead last and they almost lost their 2-4 lead but the post saved Timrå. But in the end a well deserved win for Timrå after six straight losses. The first win for Timrå's temporary coach Anders Karlsson.
Brynäs - Djurgården 3-1After beating Djurgården Brynäs is now surprisingly leading the table. One of the reasons behind the success is consistancy and Brynäs is the team that has used fewest players of all teams during the season. Today they also got some help for Djurgården who gave away the puck in dangerous situations on all the three goals for Brynäs.
