Geneva wins the prime time game

7076 persons to see Geneva win another one at home. This time the victim were the defending champions Zürich Lions. With 3 foreign players(Ryan Shannon injured), the Lions did everything they could to win the game. Until 30 minutes, they were actually a better team on ice. But Swiss goalie Tobias Stephan(38 saves) stooped everything. Once the storm passed Geneva score when they needed, in beginning of third period. Defensibly solid Geneva deserves the victory against a very good Marc Crawford team.

Bienne 2 Fribourg 3 (OT)

Young Swiss goalie Benjamin Conz was the star of the game- 50 saves. Conz give a opportunity Fribourg to stay on the game and finally win it. Tonight at Biel stadium, Fribourg was a patient team and lucky enough to win two points. Jacob Micflikier(9GM 5G 3A) lead the home team with goals.

Rapperswil 5 Ambri 3

Home team keep the surprise going, Canadian player Robbie Earl(12GM 5G 6A) leads the team with two goals and two assists. so-rounded by captain Loic Burkhalter (goal and assist). In other side young Swiss player Marco Pedretti lead Ambri with two goals and also mention Czech defenseman Zdenek Kutlak(two assists) but it was once more not enough(ten straight losses). The eight place(playoff spot) seems to be already far.

Lugano 7 Zug 4

And Boston Bruin Patrice Bergeron keep is European adventure in great style. Second straight game with seven goals scored by his team. And this time the victim was the big fish EV Zug. Former NHL players Hnat Domenichelli and Glen Metropolit(12GM 2G 13A) lead the team with goals and one assist. Also mention to Bergeron(2GM 2G 4A). In Zug side(still no Zetterberg). Swedish Linus Omark(11GM 5G 9A),Red Wing Damien Brunner(9GM 5G 8A) and Raphael Diaz(9GM 3G 7A), are still not enough to put the team in right way.

Davos 3 Bern 6

Bern start to climb places in NLA, John Tavares give a great offensive dimension to SC Bern. It will be difficult to beat Bern in next games. Tonight Swiss legend Ivo Ruthemann lead Bern with four assist. In other side home team continues to disappointing. 28 times Swiss champions live difficult times in the League. Even with Rick Nash and and Joe Thornton nothing seems to work. Young rising star Gregory Hofmann lead Davos with two goals. Mention to Leonardo Genoni(Davos) with 46 saves.
